Our primary focus is to help people experience God's presence, purpose, and peace in their lives through the ministry of praise and worship, prayer, and the teaching of God’s word. We are also committed to helping people grow in the truth and mature into Christ-likeness and character while functioning in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Built upon the strong foundation of the New Testament principles so relevant to our modern culture’s contemporary needs, our non-denominational, spirit-filled, multicultural church--nestled in the heart of Jacksonville, Florida-- leads its ministry with integrity and compassion in order to impact the world with the power and healing brought forth by the Kingdom of God.

Bishop Darryl Wakefield, his wife Mercy and their children founded the Christian Fellowship Center in 1992. The church held its first service in a hotel banquet room with only eight people in attendance. As a result of God’s Grace, the dedication of Pastor and First Lady Wakefield, and faithful and committed members, the church continues to grow. The Christian Fellowship Center provides a friendly environment that fosters a sense of belonging.
