A Baby Dedication is a ceremony in which believing parents, godparents and sometimes entire families make a commitment before the Lord to submit a child to God’s will and to raise that child according to God’s Word and God’s ways.
Parents are making the commitment at the time of dedication to: teach and train the child in God’s word, demonstrate an example of Godliness, discipline according to God’s ways , and to pray earnestly for the child.  Godparents are making the commitment at the time of dedication to: pray for your Godchild regularly, set an example of Christian living, help your Godchild to grow in the faith of God, Son and the Holy Spirit, and give every encouragement to follow Christ and fight against evil.
Here at CFC Baby dedications generally occur following the worship portion of the service and before the pastor's message.  CFC has a beautiful, God and family honoring Baby Dedication Service, after which the dedicated child receives a gift of a certificate, stuffed animal, and a children’s bible and his/her journey towards Christ.
